New single Family Residence - Topanga, Ca, - 1700 s.f.
This house was designed to replace a Geodesic dome that was destroyed in the Malibu Fire of 1994. The coastal commission required that the original size and volume of the original structure be main gained as part of the "re-build" requirements. The resulting design employs a generous amount of exterior decking to increase the sense of spaciousness for each floor level.
